So your default is that either the kid is lying or the doctors are incompetant? Come on, man. We're message board heroes. We don't have a fraction of the information needed to make these conclusions. Whatever JSN owes us as fans (hint....it's fucking nothing) he more than paid it against Utah. Even if your large assumptions are true and he's healthy enough to play, but doesn't want to risk losing MILLIONS of dollars, how can anybody blame him for that?

Go get yours JSN.

I am wondering if he tore the hammy off the bone to a less severe level than Ken Griffey, Jr. I have to believe it is something more because as lingering as hamstrings are I cannot see this being a 4 month injury. But I’m not a doctor. Hope he is ready to go by combine time. He has always been a class act kid and cannot wait to see him on the field again.

Maybe it's just a string of bad luck, but the lingering injuries at multiple positions have raised questions about the medical staff all season. I don't remember anything like it at Ohio State, honestly.

Not saying he's lying. JSN said he's not playing, not that he's unable to play. Just hard to feel the same way as Olave and Wilson, where they played every week until a bowl game that wasn't the playoffs.

Do you think the same guy who would risk reinjury vs Toledo would say nah I'm not going to risk it for all the marbles?
