WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba (2022 Rose Bowl MVP, Seattle Seahawks)

When I was about 30, I tweaked my right hamstring playing beer league soccer. Limped along on it a while Last game of the season, early November, I ripped it pretty well. Basically coin toss for surgery.

Did some rest. Went through a round of PT. Started a light jog in January, twice a week on an indoor track along with resistance training and a lot of elliptical, took until April till I didn't feel the tweak anymore.

Obviously I didn't have the resources JSN did but it was a 6 month deal for me.

Never had a problem with that one again tho.

and your body at 30 and JSN's body now are basically identical so that seems like a good comp.

:biggrin2:

His teammates including the much talked about Treyveon are tweeting support. So yeah players fighting through injury support him.

Yet fans are mad

Of course they are going to. They know him personally and I’m sure they like him personally.

Criticism is one thing. It’s not like people are out in force wishing him death or demanding his records be scrubbed from OSU.

even though disappointed in him. I still wish him the best in life.

Ok here it is. Listen to the whole thing..

This is interesting. Sounds like medically he could be ready to play, but someone, family, agent, etc. has convinced him it’s not worth the risk of reinjury.

Don’t blame him, the training/coaching staff already fucked him over twice. Toledo! Are you kidding me.

Best of luck in the NFL, will probably drop a little, but I get it.

Hearing that while we are in the playoffs. That hurts. Any other bowl game I’d get it.

I personally could never imagine missing the playoffs if I was physically able to go.

The only reason for any college to exist is as stepping stone into a professional career. If you can complete your work in shorter time than 4 years, no matter the degree, certification, or whatever - you take that and move along. Some guys are academically gifted and can graduate in 3, some guys are physically gifted and leave after 3.

Go get your money JSN. Now Day can set a firm lineup and the media can stop with the incessant questions and predictions.
