WR Grant Schwartz (official thread)

This Kid played QB for the first time last year and set 10 school records without a very good OL. If he had played for Mission Viejo he would have been all world!

I promise all of you I've seen most of his games and he is the major 06 sleeper recruit. He'll be a monster at safety. Hell he'll probably be a diamond in the ruff QB. If he would have played Defense last year he would already be all over the map. His coaches kept him off D because they had no one to back him up at QB. He loves to HIT!!!!

Sounds more like Steve Belisari than Troy Smith or Donny Nickey.... and I think that's a good thing... just as long as he ends up where he needs to be on the field... if you get my meaning.

Like Mili said there bunches of highlighs in his tape. Wait to you see them all! At this point I say he is a must get for OSU. Watching him on the practice field or in a game he is a man amoung boys. You can just see the difference. I know Grant would commit on the spot. No friggin drama here. He is what Ohio State and JT is all about!

That was a heck of a block. I really think he is an impressive QB and would almost offer him as a QB but then again I haven't seen him play defense yet. He doesn't have ideal height but he has great speed, great footwork, good mechanics, good arm strength, and from what I saw great accuracy. He really threaded the needle on some of those passes. I say get him in and figure out where he goes later because he is a player. Very athletic I would love too see him in S&G.

Nope. I ripped them from a tape sent to me yesterday by the Schwartzs themselves. I have about 10 more to rip this weekend...

This weekend? Get on it now you slacker! :wink2:

(Good work as always mil.)

It's a new atricle just released a few days ago I believe. http://sunshinepreps.net/oldclips/Grant%20Schwartz.wmv
Check it out if you want.

That is essentially the tape he sent, but the tape he sent also has a good chunk of a game from which some of those highlights were taken. I'm still going to rip and post seperate the better plays from the highlights, because the quality will be much better (and you'll at least be able to see the flight of the ball, and comprehend his arm strength and accuracy). And some of the clips will have audio, which gives you the high school excitement.
