Coach, acknowledging his struggles, said he is sticking with him because it is “an investment” which is just another example of his aggressive approach.
The kid is electric with the ball in his hands. When he breaks one for a TD, the investment will pay off. At least that’s Coach’s attitude.
With our defense... exactly. This team doesn’t need a great return man . Just catch every punt and don’t let one roll 20 yds. We’re dominating everywhere else. Don’t need special just no mistakes.

Put KJ Hill back there to fair catch everything. Besides we have such a good offense that whats an extra 10-20 yards anyways?
I really hope they just put the sure handed person back there. It's now lead to what 10-14 points in 3 weeks?
My point is only for this rematch. Come the CFP we need everything the ST can give us.20 yards anywhere on the field is A LOT. Also, the difference between being on the 10 or the 1 is even bigger. Never in the history of football has a team just decided never to field a punt and there's a reason for that.
And add to that the freezing conditions of the last two games. Anyone here who does not remember what it felt like when your fingers Became numb and would not move due to the cold, is lying about growing up in the state of Ohio.I think people are underestimating how hard it is to return punts and it's hard to find a returner who will catch them every single time. In fact, no one on our roster has done it so far. Even Hill has muffed 1 or 2 from what I remember and provides zero upside. McCall has had his share of muffs as well. So the only alternative option to fielding one of those three is to put someone out there who has never done it in a college football game.
Also, as stated above the risk should be decreased as the last 3 games may be indoors.
