It means he will always be a captain, and will get invited to special captains' events. I'm pretty sure there's a captains' breakfast for the tsun game. But no, he won't be a captain in 2015. Hopefully he'll be someplace in the NFL. If not he'll be succeeding at something else.

It was a shame he wasn't invited to the NFL Draft. However, he has all things you can't measure at a combine in spades. He'll find a home somewhere.

I really believe that Spencer can have a good career as a 3 or 4th WR because he's someone who is going to do and say all the right things not to mention if there's one guy on our team that can make a crazy grab it is him. I feel he'll be one of those guys we wonder how he wasn't more productive in his career at OSU due to doing better in the NFL.
The more I look at Spencer/Heurman/Devin the more I think it's going to take a little time to get over losing them from a leadership standpoint.

Apparently his brother is a scout for the Redskins but I was saying this in a different thread, Evan is a guy scouts love. He's an elite blocker and will be great on ST's, I'll take that in the 6th round.
