WR Duron Carter (Official Thread)

Duron Carter leaves FAU football team

.
.
.
Grade issues have been the culprit behind each of Carter's moves
.
.
.
FAU wide receivers coach Jeff Sims said after Carter joined the Owls that the coaching staff would have a zero-tolerance policy towards Carter when it pertained to grades and conduct. His FAU tenure began poorly, as he was dismissed from a pre-season practice by Sims, but Carter was said to have assimilated into the FAU squad well, contributing on the scout team.
It's unclear if Carter's leaving of FAU was his choice.

He needs to find a state that requires full service only for pumping gas....New Jersey or Oregon.....so that he can finally answer to his true calling: petroleum transfer specialist.

And it's not like Duron went all Maurice Clarett in the season he played. He showed some talent but nothing NFL quality.

Yeah, he showed some potential. The baggage will keep him from getting drafted. It wouldn't surprise me to see an NFL team give him a look in camp, but he's shown nothing that indicates he has the work-ethic or maturity to overcome all of the issues facing him to make an NFL team. Maybe he suddenly grows up and does it, but that seems like an extreme longshot at this point.
