2009 ESS Rankings

Elite Scouting Florida Top 100
31)Duron Carter-Saint Thomas-WR-6’2-175-(Committed to Ohio State)- When you watch Duron play you have to wonder if that’s how his father Chris looked like in high school. Duron runs his routes very well and pretty much catches everything thrown his way. He does a good job of getting open. He does not have great speed but that should improve as Duron continues to work on that part of his game. He is probably one of the most polished receivers in this year’s class.

This kid is gonna be good. His blocking has stood out just as much as his receptions. He has had two blocks where he has just laid people out. He makes plays and creates space for others with his blocks too.

His one handed catch was in the 2nd quarter 9:22 . Amazing catch on the edge of out of bounds with good coverage. He's going to be like his DADDY:biggrin: Bill Conley talking about the ESPN recruiting and top players.

Nothing like putting a little pressure on the kid.

But that sure would be nice. :)

After watching the game, reminds me a lot of what I see when watching Brian Robiskie. Obviously both have the bloodlines to be great wide receivers, not blistering speed, but their tremendous route running ability will get them open. Not to mention it seems like the opposing should check their gloves for "stickum", becuse nobody should be making the catches they do.
