I'd assume that the staff waits to see what Ja'Juan Story does. The one thing about professing how much you want to be a Buckeye...is that you'll probably still want to be a Buckeye in the end.

Seems like the staff wants (and has offered): Story, Spencer, Wynn.
There's a couple other athletes, but those are the highest probability. If Story says he's FSU bound, then the Buckeyes look elsewhere => Smith.

I'm no insider, but from everything I've read, I expect him to get an offer and accept it soon after that.

I think they only play those odds with the likes of Braxton Miller and a few others. They'll have no problem offering Smith if they feel he's worth it, even with other offers out there. They will not wait for Story to make up his mind in order to offer Smith. This year is about wrapping things up.

Good to know he is a polished route runner. At Massillon last year, there seemed to be four pass plays:

1. Chuck it up the sideline to Smith (often out of bounds)
2. Jump ball up the sideline to Olack
3. Screen to Smith
4. Screen to Olack

My biggest concern is if Smith didn't get the ball early, forget about him the rest of the game.
