WR DeVier Posey (2017 Grey Cup Champion and MVP)

To be honest, no, I wasn't kidding. After the video was posted, and for the fact I could not watch it, everybody started talking about how they hope he can play CB/Safety. I figured it was just for is Sr. year at LaSalle HS, but I didn't know if maybe he said something in the video about wanting/being told to play CB at OSU...

Video interview by Greg Powers. DeVier is excited to play both ways and is very happy with the '08 class thus far.

DeVier has a TON of energy  Very refreshing to see a recruit so excited about football, and so excited about OSU. This class is really going to be something special, not just because of talent but because all of these guys are true Buckeyes to the core.

7 on 7 film of DeVier at Miami. Extremely fluid, great body control, great hands, and very aggressive on the ball. Great speed, good route running, and change of direction...I am still not backing down on DeVier being a 5 star caliber WR. Limited film of him at CB but they never appeared to throw his way.

DeVier is still #3 in Ohio, yet he's a 5 star.

I think Devoe (current #2 in Ohio) is in order for a bump up.

They probably haven't updated those yet, just as they haven't updated the team rankings (at least when I was at home earlier).

Although, on the new Top 100 they made some very flattering remarks abougt Mr. Torrence.

Did I mention I work for Rivals  But I think DeVier more than deserves this ranking and may even move up higher because I think he is going to flat out explode this year and hopefully the LaSalle QB can get him the ball.

One last thing...I was talking with OSwho? about this on Recruiting Planet (shameless plug)...I could care less about how many stars Devier has...what is much more important to me (and let's put this in perspective...no one cares less about Rivals/Scout rankings than I do) is where a kid is ranked at his position. Devier is rated as the #5 WR in the country and that is fairly accurate to me. Whether that ranking warrants a fifth star or not is inconsequential to me.
