The BTN has changed the time of the show to Wednesday, March 9th at 9 pm ET. It's a half hour show.

They show it repeating at 10:30 pm Wednesday and again at midnight, and Thursday (3/10) at 1:30 am, 6 am, 8:30 am, and 10:30 pm.

Thanks Coach, DVR is being reprogrammed accordingly.

I see Dane pretty much every Monday and Wednesday leaving class. He never has less than 2 girls on either side of him. I'll let you guess about how hot they are

He had that effect on my daughter in HS. The kid is a chick magnet and he was the HS hero. He did all the things right and continues to do so.

Go Bucks!

Whereabouts are you from in Toledo? I grew up there is why I ask.

As to Dane, I have a story that you might like. When he was a frosh at tOSU and hadn't blew up yet, a buddy of mine met him at a party. My buddy came up to him and asked for his autograph, and I am told Dane responded - "Are-- are you serious?", clearly shocked that someone would ever ask for it.

He seems like a stand up guy with a great sense of humor (What should I do?), and I wish the best to him in the draft. :oh:

:io: Well, your buddy could have asked to be an organ donor instead of an autograph, then "what should I do" may have been his inspiration for later on.

I live in south Toledo near Copland and the Trail. Dane's family lived around the corner near River Road. My daughter knew Dane in GS and HS and ran track with him. His dad worked with my dad etc. Small world. I too wish him well in the draft, we need to see ours kids grow up and be successful.

Big ten speed, Dane helping his stock for the Rams, Ravens, Giants, Colts, Lions, Patriots, Bengals, Packers, and Jets.

Some Buckeyes who definitely helped their stocks today were Dane Sanzenbacher, Brandon Saine, Jermale Hines, and Justin Boren. Sanzenbacher ran a 4.48 40-yard dash, faster than his NFL combine time of 4.56, and looked very good during position drills as well. I'm thinking he could be a 4th round pick and I think he will be a steal for whichever team he goes to.

Saine ran a 4.4 - 40

2011 combine workout: Dane Sanzenbacher - NFL Network

Dane Sanzenbacher had his Big Ten Network crew following him around gathering more footage for the network's draft buildup show. He's officially a star, but still refuses to act like one. He said he wanted to "touch" 4.4 today, which he did with a 4.48 after running a 4.59 at the combine. He said he was "ready to attack" the day today. Has been looking forward to it. He wasn't nervous because he could only surprise people. (That's something he's done quite a bit.) Mentioned that former Ohio State receivers coach Darrell Hazell texted him prior to the combine to let him know that the NFLers were going to try and make him mad during the interviews and to not let it happen. Asked if today was an enjoyable process, he wasted no time answering "No". Commented that it was emotionally and mentally much tougher than physically. Said he didn't really picture himself with such a good chance at the NFL when he first got to Ohio State, saying that Ohio State "is just too big to look past". The kid has such a good head on his shoulders. Said he's not sure what he'll do if there's a lockout and no NFL games. Said he'd probably have to get an internship if anybody (the reporters) needed one. He was asked if he patterned himself after any other receivers, and seemingly knowing where the questioning was going, nipped it in the bud.

?Not really," he said.

"I get that a lot. I get that, 'Oh, you must model [yourself] against Wes Welker and Anthony Gonzalez', but I don't. I mean they're great players, but I've always just kind of done my own thing. You can look at all kinds of players and take little bits from everybody and what they do. Just being here, you get to see film on the great Ohio State players before you.?

Already established as a smart, physical hitter with good football instincts, Hines probably projects as high as the third round with his times. Sanzenbacher already has the hands, but he needed the legs as well.

Among the smaller receivers in the draft, Sanzenbacher ran the 30th-fastest time among 41 receivers at the combine with a 4.59.

"It was one of the bigger questions with me coming into this process," Sanzenbacher said. "I wanted to stay sharp in my routes and all that, but my speed was the big question."

He bounced back with a 4.48 on Friday, his goal to run somewhere in the 4.4s, and with his other goal just to get drafted at all, one NFL Draft analyst said the time makes him view Sanzenbacher as a fifth-rounder. Asked if he felt fast, Sanzenbacher smiled and whispered, "I always feel fast," but he knows he probably changed perceptions.
40 times

"I guess I would hope teams already had a pretty positive view beforehand, but I think it helps your stock," Sanzenbacher said. "I pretty much hit right where my goal was from the beginning."

He has mastered the interview process too! This kid can think on his feet and there's no hesitation in his answers. Goal oriiented, grounded, realistic, and knows his limits. The intangibles are a very importmant part of a very physical game. Dane will never be a crash dummy running out of control out there. He is in control of himself both mentally and physically.

Make us proud Dane. :osu:

Here's 8 minutes worth of highlights as a reminder. More to come...

http://bucknuts.com/index.php/Footb...help-draft-stock-at-pro-day/menu-id-1346.html

The next OSU player off the board is a toss-up between safety Jermale Hines and wide receiver Dane Sanzenbacher. Both are projected as fourth-round picks and both of them did nothing but help themselves on Friday at OSU.
At the combine, Sanzenbacher ran a very-respectable 4.56 40. But he really put on a show in the 3-cone drill (third amongst WR?s at 6.46) the 20-yard shuttle (sixth - 3.97) and the 60-yard shuttle (fourth - 10.94).
At Pro Day, Sanzenbacher ran a 4.5-flat on his first attempt at the 40. And then he dug down deep and cranked out a 4.48 in his second try. Sanzenbacher running a high 4.4's - even on a supposed "fast track" like the FieldTurf at the WHAC is impressive for someone that never really got much credit for being a fast guy. Sanzenbacher always drew rave reviews for his route-running, sure hands and toughness, but he's also a quick, fast guy. Doesn't have lightning speed, but he's definitely fast enough to play in the NFL.

More on Dane, others impress as well.
