He's too small, too slow and doesn't have that Calvin Johnson size, but he continues to show all the naysayers that he can play fast, play smart and juke you out of your shoes.

Excellent job interview Dane, Now, how soon can you start? :osu:

You forgot "too white" as well. :wink2:

These times are far more valuable than the 40 but they'll never be sexy for whatever reason.

Because idiots think receivers running will never do a "bump and run" or cut up the field to catch a ball.

For some reason people want to know how fast a player is Point A to Point B without pads, obstacles, or opposition.

For some reason the general public wants to know how fast a player is Point A to Point B without pads, obstacles, or opposition, even though most scouts look at many other aspects before even considering the 40 time.

FIFY

It is an ESPN thing. Just like SEC speed, big motors, and all the other popular buzz phrases. Once ESPN starts to focus on something, the general populace seems to focus on the same.

BTN will have a show called Path to the Pros this Saturday at 2:30 ET.

It will feature Dane and 3 other Big Ten guys at the combine.

This post is for everybody except utgrad73, who already has his DVR set for it. :wink2:

I have my sundial in the backyard set to record it.

I checked out the BTN schedule and there is nothing about a show called Path to the Pros tomorrow at 2:30. Any one know what the deal about the show is?

The BTN has changed the time of the show to Wednesday, March 9th at 9 pm ET. It's a half hour show.

They show it repeating at 10:30 pm Wednesday and again at midnight, and Thursday (3/10) at 1:30 am, 6 am, 8:30 am, and 10:30 pm.
