I don't listen to him everyday. Sometimes he has some good takes. He thought it was horrible.
I have heard him call Hartline the goat. He actually raves about Hartline. He also had some sour grapes over Hartline and his WR rotations
Anybody who ever brings up Zach Smith always posts it with a caveat. You'd think that would be enough of a big red flag, and yet....Listened to Menace. Smith doesn't like the hire. Say's Hankton is not a good recruiter, but for a few guys. At each UGA and LSU the receivers regressed.
I know... I know Zach Smith, but he does know ball, and the different coaches out there.
Because he is without a doubt loose cannon. I enjoy the podcast. He was a actual wr coach under Urban. Even though he is crazy, doesn't mean his takes are wrong.Anybody who ever brings up Zach Smith always posts it with a caveat. You'd think that would be enough of a big red flag, and yet....
No....his craziness isn't why he should be completely disregarded 100% of the time.Even though he is crazy, doesn't mean his takes are wrong.
This is.He say's things to get people going.
I don't know that to be true. Where he goes wrong is his hot takes. He say's things like a drunk guy watching MNF at the local bar at 10 pm. However, his takes on a subject become more measured with time.No....his craziness isn't why he should be completely disregarded 100% of the time.
This is.
How do you differentiate the supposed good takes from the trolling douchebaggery? You don't. People need to stop giving air time to the Zach Smiths/Skip Baylesses/Stephen A Smiths/Dave Portnoys of the world. Then maybe they go the fuck away.I don't know that to be true. He is more often than not correct.
It doesn't really matter. I only brought it up, because on paper the hire looks fantastic. A former WR coach at LSU and UGA is certainly exciting again on paper. But there may be something to keep in mind down the road, if there are in fact recruiting misses or the WR doesn't look as developed.
I hope Hankton is a home run hire. He has to be. Important room in Day's offense.
So did Doug Lesmerises, who is without a doubt one of the most measured Beat writers. He thought it was horrible.
Smith also claimed Hartline wasnt a great WR coach/recruiter. Seemed like sour grapes because that was the guy that replaced him. Smith wanted credit for the WR turnaround.Anybody who ever brings up Zach Smith always posts it with a caveat. You'd think that would be enough of a big red flag, and yet....
