OLAVE LIVES UP TO THE HYPE
Chris Olave is no longer Ohio State's secret weapon.

His three catch, 70-yard performance, in which he added a touchdown and a blocked punt, is just the latest instance of his all-around impact. In his past seven games, he has led the team in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns.



The second-year wideout is second on the team in receiving yards and has a team-high two receiving touchdowns. Olave was poised for a breakout season and he is living up to the hype.

Love Olave... but a better pure athlete than Santonio... that is a tough pill for me to swallow. I do think they are similar. Admittedly biased
as Santonio may be my favorite buckeye receiver ever. Imagine him (or Ginn for that matter) in this offense...

Jashon Cornell and Shaun Wade earned defensive player of the game honors, J.K. Dobbins and Thayer Munford earned offensive player of the game honors and Drue Chrisman and Chris Olave share special teams player of the game honors for their performances in the Buckeyes' 24-point win over the Spartans.
