Hartline really doesn’t have “HIS” guys in the NFL yet. He can claim Terry, Parris, and Samuel. But once he sits down and can mention those three along with Olave, Garrett Wilson, JSN, Marv, Emeka, etc…it’ll be game over. He’s already a lights out recruiter. But saying he put 8 or more WR’s in the NFL, rounds 1 and 2, in just a 5 or so year stretch, that’s just stupid!

and that the Buckeyes and Notre Dame are the favorites for Tate. although others remain in the running for both. Inniss especially was watching

’s performance at the NFL Scouting Combine on Thursday and commented on it making me believe his interest in the Buckeyes is growing. I still think both could end up elsewhere and this isn’t necessarily a package deal but Ohio State is very much in the running for both and I could see it happening for sure.

, is already a verbal commitment. If Ohio State could land the trio, this would be momentous for the Buckeyes and a blow to programs like Miami, Florida and Florida State. Inniss, a one-time commit to Oklahoma, seems to have a very strong tie to Lincoln Riley from the Sooners to USC. The Trojans could play a major role in where Inniss ends up.

I'm taking my talents to Columbus because of Ted Ginn, but I digress. It is pretty entertaining to see schools cloy to players centuries back. Innis needs to only look at his DVR for reasons why a WR should commit to Ohio State. Would love to see him jump on board.

I disagree, I think any player he puts his hands on are his guys. The tutelage and focus on details he put into these guys all have made a significant impact on those guys, those all are his guys. I guarantee they all claim him

I was just talking about guys he personally recruited. I agree, which is what I was saying by “claiming” the others. He had a significant impact. But we are just now seeing the kids he recruited come all the way through the program. Sorry I didn’t explain myself better.

Things are looking good here, if we land Innis good chance he ends up being my "surest thing" award winner in the BRPT annual recruiting breakdown. Has a huge ceiling but I would have a hard time imagining Innis not being a critical piece of our WR unit even at his floor. This would be a huge get, but I suspect there is work to do.
