Ohio State ever playing a game on a Thursday night?
never (during the season).
I see this happening a lot recently.
with smaller programs
Georgia Tech is a pretty good school and their playing tonight.
The ACC is probably 4th among bcs conferences... and they aren't in the upper tier of that conference.

It would never happen-OSU is too premier of a program. That said, I wouldn't mind having a Saturday where I can get stuff done instead of the mandatory Buckeye watching (having enjoyed it two days earlier).

Ohio State dominates ratings and edges out virtually any program regardless of competition. Ohio State only plays football on Saturday, period.

Exactly. Teams play on Thursday and Friday to avoid playing at the same time as Ohio State. When you're a giant, you don't have to move.

I'm very much against. less time to prepair for the thurs game. have to pull the kids out of class for upwards of 3 to 4 days. i see nothing positive about thurs games. the only people who win in that scenario are the those broadcasting the games. hasn't college football and the athletes who play the game given enough to these sob's already? apparently not it seems *sigh*.
