Yep--quietest crowd I've ever seen in the 'Shoe, since everybody still had to get up for work the next day.

I sure didn't help that they were 30 point favorites coming off the Rose Bowl victory and came out as flat as Twiggy.

tOSU has no reason to play on Thursday night. We would benefit nothing from it because we are broadcast atleast 2/3 of the USA when we play usually. Thursday & Friday night games are for 2nd tier conferences to get some exposure and TV money. Its great for those schools honestly but you will never see tOSU play Iowa on a Thursday night. Plus the atmosphere would be terrible, there would be no tailgating (unless everyone called off of work), and then no recoop time because work on Friday. Not worht it any way ya cut it.

I don't know the year...but yes we did, but it was one of those pre season "bowl" games that they use to do. I think it may have been the eddie robinson classic.

Yes, it was the Eddie Robinson classic.

Very much against it. We don't need to. When you get to BCS conferences, it seems to be mostly ACC and Big East teams that do it. VT and Florida State have both played on Thursday nights that I can remember.
