The Slidell man, Christopher M. Spiehler, of 104 Woodruff Drive, met the
11-year-old girl on a social networking site called VampireFreaks.com,
which is dedicated to vampire enthusiasts and those interested in the
occult.
According to St. Tammany and Hancock County officials, the girl on Friday
night said she wanted to run away from home. Just before midnight,
when he turned 29, Spiehler picked the girl up from her St. Tammany
home and transported her into Mississippi without her parents' consent,
and then sexually assaulted the girl before leaving her at a gas station in
Bay St. Louis.
After being abandoned at the gas station, a second man, identified as 21-
year-old Sean Robertson of Waveland, Miss., picked up the girl and took
her to his home, where he also sexually assaulted her, officials said.
Robertson was arrested by the Hancock County Sheriff's Office and is
cooperating with officials.
