Edit: Volcano with Tommy Lee Jones is really [Mark May]ty
Before anyone mentions it, 2012. . . with flying freaking giraffes. I sold a first date on this, and it is dear to my heart. Godawful movie though/ But hey. . . flying giraffes.
Both Volcano and 2012, and including Day after Tomorrow, San Andreas, and a little gem called Collision Earth, are in the so bad they're good category. My daughter and I watch these, and other disaster flicks and laugh, and laugh, and laugh..

Yeah volcano is kinda special to me in that regard. My favorite part is the subplot with the racist cop and the black guy trying to get help for his neighborhood. I don't think i've seen racial tension so corny and poorly handled in a movie before.

While that is entirely true, the best scene of all time, in my opinion, is when the guy in the subway lifts the dude over his head, jumps into the lava, proceeds to melt to about his waist, and then manages to toss the injured dude an additional 10 to 15 feet to safety.
