On second thought:

Aren't karate guys sort of like comedians in that they had a non acting skill that is somewhat entertaining and could make some money if you make a movie about it?

To me, the Pauly Shore, Ernest, Pee Wee Herman, Adam Sandler, Elvis, Segal types are in that category. They provide some sort of one trick entertainment from another line of work but aren't really actors.

The Cage/Travolta/Reeves triumvirate of suck are actually held out as actors. People who can, theoretically, play any role in any kind of show, movie or play.

Just my .02

I mean, we're obviously talking Worst "Famous" Actor here, right? No matter how bad you think any household name is, the worst never make it to that level at all.

That said, I can't back Cage or Reeves for worst ever. Don't get me wrong, they've both put up some all-time garbage performances, but there's good stuff they've done too. Reeves has a very narrow lane, but he's good in that lane. Cage is maybe decades removed from his best work, but he did do some good work. Based on Travolta in the 4 minutes of Wild Hogs I saw, I'd be okay naming him worst, but he still does have a bunch of nominations for Pulp Fiction.

If you tell me I can only watch the best performances from an actor, I'm taking Cage or Reeves over someone like Shia Labeouf, Taylor Lautner, or even Matthew Broderick.

I don't even know who the second name you listed, is.

So you watched a Twilight movie, but think Ferris Bueller sucks?

I'll nominate Hayden Christensen.
In my defense, I was young and dumb and trying to get laid. It didn't work. I don't recommend. Bueller, the movie, is enjoyable. Broderick, the actor, is unsalted rice cakes and hasn't been good in anything outside of Ferris Bueller. And it wasn't his acting that made Bueller good.

Travolta is definitely the worst. Even Tarantino couldn't bring any skills out of him.

Ben Affleck isn't far behind, although he is a decent director.

Travolta or Reeves for me.

Not sure how you could bear to watch enough film to decide between them.

Yeah, but he has a really cool house:
