Wow, is about all I can say.
We got crappy pitching from the starters and then didnt get the hitting until too late.
They just need to win the rest of the games in the pool play now.

In a round robin format like this, I don't think this kind of thing should come as a shock. In any given baseball game, just about anything can happen. Shit, even the Reds manage to win about 70 games a year.

Good point. If a starting pitcher has an off-day, then its hard for any team to recover. Everyone has an off-day, sometimes your accuracy, and ball movement isnt there.

I'm not that big of a fan of baseball, but I thought I'd give the USA/Canada game a watch today.
