My big complaint is all the VPs we have. I don’t know the number but it has to be 50. Probably fewer than 500 people and 1 in 10 is a VP. They come in like a bowling ball to implement their system (instead of the system that has worked for 20+ years) stay 6 months brag about how awesome they’ve done and then leave.

I work for a CCRC (continuing care retirement community) - we have multiple buildings on one campus. I work in the admin building, I'm the only guy in the office here (there's only 10 of us in this building). These broads are so gossip driven, they all think everyone else here secretly hates them, ect - it gets very old. 3 or 4 of these women are nearing retirement age, so hoping it gets better. and holy fuck are they LOUD

people who schedule 4 hour long meetings - we are in the process of doing a major upgrade to our EMR system, they are scheduling us 4 hour long build meetings where we have to go over every part of every section (and if you've ever worked in healthcare, you know its a BUNCH) - we just finished a 4 hour long session that was only setting up templates to say what groups of users have access to each piece of information. Tomorrow we have 2 sessions back to back, one building the clinical side, and the other building the financial side.

Liars. Liars who think they're so smart no one could possibly catch them lying. Bosses that treat subordinates like children. You may be my boss but its not because you're smarter or work harder or have more experience. Its because this company values other things more highly. That's ok. Its life. But quit acting like its because you're a better person. Youre not. You just happened to be born in a time where speaking corporate like a dipshit gets you more money instead of buried in an unmarked grave on the job site

we have one here at our facility who acts like that. she seems to think because she is in charge of all of nursing, that means she's in charge of IT as well, haha, nope bish, we report to the CEO and the Board, thats it

I forgot something that used to drive me nuts years ago when I worked for others.

The old - write me regular memos summarizing things.

Then you wonder if they really read them so you test out this theory by putting small, off-topic notes in them. One place I worked only one superior would ever catch them.
