Woody Hayes Athletic Center (Official Thread)

Why would kickers and punters be considered speed?

Why would they be considered BIG SPEED?

Hey QB's are in the SPEED catogory, i don't know what everyone else thinks, but guys like Zwick and other pocket passers aren't world class speedsters either. But the bench press is more of strength and not speed. I'm just saying kickers/punters should be in a catogory with guys more their size, not with FB's and LB's and other big guys.

Hell maybe they should give the kickers and the punters their own catogory for the leg press.

Not on gamedays. A buddy and I walked all the way over after the game and there were signs up that said it was closed on gamedays. The players are in and out of there at several points during gamedays, so they like to keep the fans out.

When is the WHAC open for public viewing of some of the trophies? Mon-Fri 8-5? I know it is closed during gamedays. I read that the coolest trophies are off to the left in an authorized personnel area only. Anyone with authorization want to give me a tour?

The place you are speaking of is a hallway that runs along the side of the building and the coaches rooms. I went there before my football camp there and looked around and walked around to the area you are speaking of. Nobody said anything to me and i don't really see them saying anything to you. There is no "locked" doors to that area, you walk into the front door, turn left(i believe the restrooms are right before the hallway), then go right. You will then see a big picture of Woody and then you turn left go about 10-15 feet and turn right and you are in the hallway with all the individual awards hallway. Just don't walk into anyrooms along that hallway(They are all marked with FOOTBALL PERSONAL ONLY). You shouldn't have a problem unless you look like Osama Bin Laden or something.

I read in a post by Thump that there is a tour of Ohio Stadium for $2-3 per person for a group of 5-8 people. You get to see the luxury boxes, lockerroom, recruiting room, band room, and even down to the field, but not on the grass. Anyone have details on how to sign-up?

After my Football Camp at OSU we got to go inside the stadium and actually sit on the field. I have always wanted to go a tour there, but just couldn't find a group of ten people.
