After the flurry of missed chances in the first twenty minutes, I think the US got impatient in the attack. They gave away possession a few times on speculative passes that allowed Japan to hold the ball a little more themselves and establish some confidence.

This game needs a goal hawk like Alex Morgan.

They could have said "I doubt we'll see Bradley.....", left it at that and I'd be happy. The men definitely seem to always play less inspired than these women have shown. Except for 2 games during the WC, they are not nearly as inspired as these women. Love this energy.
