I don't have a mortgage. However, 35 years ago it was with Buckeye Federal Savings and Loan. How times change, not only is Buckeye Federal no longer in existance; neither are most of the savings and loans in Ohio thanks to Charles Keating.

Kind of a tough question to answer really. For instance, there is who originated your mortgage, there is who owns the note, and there is who services the mortgage. Each of these portions has its own value. Not only are all three frequently separate companies, it is also the case that the latter two will change hands at least once during the mortgages life.
