It's mostly my fault. I don't want to plan a friggin' wedding! We already feel married anyway, so we're not in a hurry.

That's pretty much the same boat that I'm in as well. We've been together for four years, engaged for one, but she has no desire to try and plan anything either. I have been suggesting a bash with all our friends in Vegas......and I think she is starting to agree. :banger:

now there is a first for me, a woman admitting to not wearing her ring.

Honestly, I don't understand men or women who get bent about the wearing of the rings... I know a few who are nutty about it and well, they aren't just nutty about the rings, they are just overall CERTIFIABLE!

Very valid point.. some women won't allow the man to lease though.... maybe just buy used in those circumstances?

well, if your buying used there was some form of purchase plan setup prior to you becoming interested. which would indicate that the offer was on the table at some point prior to your involvement with a 3rd party. thats not to say your able to qualify, simply that it was likely available at some point to the previously mentioned 3rd party. which is often a direct reflection on your personal character as well as credit rating. oddly enough, the higher your scores the less likely you are to qualify. this might seem strange at first glance, but makes sense when you think about it. the mass majority of these agreements are at the sole discretion of the parties involved and of course, are subject to change. as you might imagine, all previous agreements are null in void and are not transferrable unless agreed upon by all parties.

my advice would be to take a long hard look at the offer on the table and decide if it is what best fits your needs. as you can see there is a lot to think about with a purchase of this magnitude. i believe there is a lease or buy thread that thump started that has a lot of really good information as far as deciding which is best for you. good luck!
