Here's the breakdown in layman's terms for tonight's game.
tOSU got the edge in victory margin.
Wiscy got the edge in rushing efficiency.
tOSU got the edge in passing efficiency.
Both teams are deadlocked in rushing defense.
Wiscy got the edge in passing defense, but tOSU played against tougher passing teams.
tOSU got the edge in forcing turnovers.
Wiscy got the edge in 3rd down conversions, but tOSU got a huge edge with 3rd down defense.
tOSU got penalized more than Wiscy so they need to more disciplined for this game.
tOSU got the edge in special teams play. They haven't gave up a yard on punt returns this season.
Wiscy played two FCS level teams (UMass isn't exactly a FBS team at this point...)
tOSU was able to handle California, who is better on offense than Arizona State.
Last, but the least...Ohio State is 276-0-1 all time when scoring 35 points or more so this is a no brainer...SCORE 5 TOUCHDOWNS AND A FIELD GOAL!
