Wisconsin -8.5 at Sparty (ov/un 47.5) Sat 8 ET, ESPN

This is probably blasphemy, but I'm pulling for Wiscy here. Two reasons - it helps the B1G to have a team in the national title hunt, so that if Oklahoma stubs their toe, Bucky has a chance at getting in. That's good for us. Good exposure.

Plus, if Nebraska can earn their way to Indy, we'd have another shot at the Badgers. I think Wisconsin is better than Nebraska, but Nebraska is better than they showed at Camp Randall. Redemption, please.
This is flawed thinking. Wisky will lose to Smurf State in a Bowl game.

Will Sparty be old Sparty? Or will they play like they want it?
I'm thinkin' they put to much emotionally into last week against the skunkbears and will come out flat.
But, If they "tenderize" Wiscy it would be good for us.

The way i watched Wisconsin run over Nebraska, they looked for real then.

Now the way we played Mich/State i had to wonder how good was our defense in that game and our offense had a lot of work to do.

Then we go to Nebraska and absolutley handled them for atleast 3 quarters & then went flat. So i think this week we will get a good measure of how
good Wisconsin will play. Would we want wisconsin to win in a defense battle
and come into the "Shoe" and get ready for us coming off a bye week.

Is Russel Wilson the key to that offense? I think he is and i hope our D-Backs can play as well as they did against Illinois. I think those are the keys to a victory for us. And the defensive line will have thier hands full with Wisconsin
O-Line.

The talent discrepancy in that game was not as big as the final score indicated. Things just snowballed on Nebraska in a hurry.

I see this weekend's game as a physical, close game. MSU has to get pressure on Wilson and slow down the run game; I don't think they'll have a problem doing that.

Rooting for Sparty to knock the badger out of the BCS championship race.

And open the door for us to get back in the B1G race.

If Sparty wins and we can somehow knock of Wiscy guess who is very much in contention in our division. :osu:

You mean you don't think Penn State is a legitimate B1G Title contender?

Their moronic fans think so. Their upcoming losing streak should be entertaining.

Oh god... It's going to be like the dipshits from up north thinking they had good teams the last 3 seasons because they started 4-0, 5-0, and 5-0 against nobody. As soon as they get their first solid matchup, they fold. As will State Penn.

How can PSU fans think they actually have a legit shot? They are virtually in the same position as tOSU, only worse. Their D couldn't hold Ohio State's D's jock. And their offense may or may not be considerably worse than ours. At least we have incredible depth at RB. So much so, we had to convert one to LB. :slappy:
