Game Thread Wisconsin 13, tOSU 31 (Oct 10, 3:30 ET, ABC/ESPN)

Wow, I don't know if ESPN's play by play is that bad or if you're making things up because you don't really remember what happened. Either way, that's not even close to what happened in the game.

Terrelle's first 7 completions were to 4 receivers, not 7 (Sanzenbacher-3, Posey-2, Carter-1, Saine-1). I'm not sure how you miss the 2 TD's to Sanzenbacher (1st and 4th completion).

Considering Terrelle threw no more than 2 consectutive incompletions against Toledo (that only happened twice), I have to suspect you are making up the 6 to 7 straight incomplete passes. I doubt even ESPN is going to screw up the play by play on 4 consecutive drives. His next seven passes were: Ballard-incomplete, Carter-complete, Posey-incomplete, Sanzenbacher-complete, Carter-incomplete, Posey-incomplete, Ballard-complete.

Complaining about Terrelle zeroing in on one receiver in the Toledo game is ludricous. He threw consecutive passes to the same receiver just once in 28 attempts. Yes, it was to Posey, but one of them was a completion. The official play by play of all our games can be found at the NCAA's website:

NCAA DIVISION I FOOTBALL

Is it truly that difficult to do a little fact checking before disparaging the coaches?

My apologies to you Buck....I will admit when I screwed up.... as I was thinking of the Indiana game. Although I couldn't remember the opponent, I specifically recall the moment that I was looking at the box score and on the phone with someone talking about the game. I was speaking highly of TP and the game plan as they were spreading the passes around and we had a couple of touchdowns already. However, I do see your other point as ESPNs play by play is remarkably different today than it was the day of the game. Apparently in their hurry the copied and pasted "Terrelle Pryor sideline pass incomplete to DeVier Posey" several times in a row during the game. My bad and thanks for the link.

Iowa did not look good against Michigan, or anybody but State Penn. Of course I also dont think they looked good against State Penn, but moreso that State Penn looked horrible against Iowa. They arent even in the same league in my book. And this is coming from someone who is still very sceptical on our offense.

Neither Iowa nor Penn State looked good in that game. I love a defensive struggle as much as the next guy, but they both looked awful.

but be aware that everyone outside of C-Bus has put Iowa ahead of us in the Big Ten power rankings.

Are you talking about 2002 or 2009?
Actually, nevermind: I really don't care which one you're talking about.

I just don't understand this talk. Which team won on Saturday? The team with only 13 points? No - they didn't outscore their opponents. The team with 31 points? I guess not - they didn't look pretty enough. Sorry, Buckeyes. Next time, complete more passes after you're already up by more than 2 touchdowns, and you might be given a win. And maybe we should go back to 2002 and take away all the ugly wins. Which is a shame, because I now have a lot of fond memories of that 8-6 season.

If you all want to high five each other over an ugly win that's fine with me but be aware that everyone outside of C-Bus has put Iowa ahead of us in the Big Ten power rankings. I know it don't mean crap until the game is played but it means everyone else is seeing what I'm seeing.
You're calling out OSU for ugly wins compared to Iowa? Really?

Iowa has won ugly all year, and has not come close to dominating their opponent like OSU has done for 4 weeks straight. Other than blowing out Iowa St, they have eeked out defensive wins against N Iowa, Arizona, PSU, Ark St & Michigan. There are a lot of mediocre teams in that lineup.

Did you say, Arkansas State? I say, did you say, Arkansas State? Now, that is one to be proud of!

So.... you didn't actually see the Toledo game, and thus you have no way of knowing how well Posey or any other WR was covered, and you think you have enough knowledge to comment?

:slappy:

Pair that with the fact that you just got pwnd about the actual plays by buck1973 ....

Might be time to keep your opinions to yourself, there, sparky.

I never went to school for it, and have no idea how it is actually done, but I think I could be a brain surgeon, give me a screwdriver and a wrench!

That means people don't like what I'm saying which is fine with me, I'm used to it. Rep points don't mean anything to me, the way I see it they only encourage people to say what they think others want to hear. Well unless ESPN relocated to Columbus, I'm not quite sure what to make of this then ....

Big Ten power rankings: Week 6 - Big Ten - ESPN

And I don't see the rankings having changed after this week...

Badger Fan: "But...but we're better than them just look at the stats...er...take away the pick 6....er the second pick 6.....er...both pick 6s.....and that darn kick off return.....we out scored their offense so we must be....if we played them 10 times we would win 8! On a neutral field...er the refs..yes the refs cost us the game they were holding all game long and never got called...er" "Just look how bad their offense is! Their QB sucks and can't throw! And their running backs are little! No, I didn't hear their offense had the flu. So what? We're better! We should have won! So they got 3-4 sacks. 6? They didn't get 6 sacks! I'm sure they they didn't.......But..take away the 6 sacks that the refs gave them and........"

I call BS. If you knew about the screwdriver and wrench, then you had to have at least some training.
