I'm sure every player on both teams have plenty of reasons to take a shot at somebody, however, taking a cheap swipe at a player after the game has ended, when he's just skating over to congratulate his goalie, is a bitch move, at any level. If Crosby lacks the balls to confront Maltby face to face, he should hide behind his goons and the refs like a good little finesse forward. Even guys like Claude Lemieux or Esa Tikkanen had more class than to trip a guy while he's not looking and run away. I'll bet Crosby is oblivious to the fact that he just opened the door for shots after the whistle the rest of the way. He'll deserve every one of them.

Didn't watch the game or turn it off right after the horn?

As I said it was nothing big but he lost his cool and it was cheap. I wouldn't be surprised to see Kronwall or Stuart take a run at him. If a little trash talking can get to him laying him out hard definitely will.

That's not losing your cool. Losing your cool would be an actual cheap shot. He hit him in the skate with his stick. The word "hit" makes it sound like it hurt Maltby. If that's a cheap shot, then I played with a bunch of cheap players when I was playing pee-wee hockey.

An actual slash is cheaper than what Crosby did. The slashes that happen every game and have been committed in every game ever played.

No kidding. I watched the video 3 times thinking I had missed something. Crosby's still a little girl, but being upset about that is almost as bad.
