Yay!!! They must have read my post.

What I love is they kept mentioning the calls they were getting, but they need to do it to keep people safe. Bullshit. You don't need 3 straight hours of coverage to do that. I was listening to the Reds game, and they only cut in every 5 minutes or so. I guess radio listeners were in grave danger.

Tripped Maltby as he was in line to congradulate the team then ran off to the locker room. It wasn't much but it was a whiny sore loser move.

Honestly why do they never pick a Redwing to follow? Are the Redwings telling them no?

Wow what a joke the calls the Pens are getting away with this game.

Yeah it's bad when the announcers call you out on national tv about those calls. I was ticked off about the second PP call 2 as that's the kind of thing they were letting go all game. But yeah it's only been 2 or 3 calls but they were really blatant.

:p

I'm sure Crosby just came up and did this out of nowhere without any reason. He seems like such an asshole.

EDIT: From ESPN, about the incident at the end of the game. The captain is showing that he won't take shit from them. You can call it whiny/sore loser acts if you'd like.. I'd hope that any captain would respond.

Crosby said Saturday night he was tired of Maltby running his mouth off.

"Part of the process of a series is you try to get under another team's skin, wear 'em down and make it as hard as you possibly can," Maltby said. "That's all I did, was trying to do and will continue to do. Trust me, there's a lot coming back from their guys, as well. You try and get every little edge you can."

No most captains would let it go when a 4th liner was talking trash. There is nothing to gain there and all you've done is shown him he's got to you. Which in turn makes it all the worse for you in the future. He lost his cool and overreacted. It was unbefitting of a captain and a sore loser. Beyond that it wasn't much to write home about though. Maltby will just be yapping at him all the more today.
