Just had a great bottle of wine last night, Big Red Monster... fairly inexpensive about $10...

Isn't complex, but a nice smooth easy drinking red wine.

Rumor is that it is bottled from some excess wine from very expensive wineries out in Napa.

If you see it I would highly recommend grabbing it.

My wife and I are traveling to Italy this summer, and we'll be going on a wine tour in Tuscany. Really looking forward to it!

Anyone have any recommendations of wines or restaurants to try while we're there? We'll be in Milan, Rome, Florence, and Venice.

had a sauvignon blanc at dinner last night that was pretty good...Spinyback from New Zealand. really enjoyed it...

An excellent sauv blanc from NZ is Kim Crawford 2006. The PA state store (fucking PA :smash: ) has it for 16 bucks. Wine Spectator has it in their 2006 top 100 wines list, so you can trust them if you don't trust me.

Well... that can't have been out for very long.
