Just a small question...I bought a pc that ran windows ME, and I installed XP and its runnin slow, so If I go to add/remove programs, and uninstall XP, will it go back to ME? or should I just leave it like it is?

Any help would be great.

Leave it as is. If you insist on reinstalling that POS OS called Windows ME then you should format your hard drive and install from scratch. But I would rather do this than install ME: :hatepc:

Thanks, I have a old hp pavilion and its slow, so just trying to make it run a lil faster without throwing any cash into it.

Well this is what I know of my PC

hp pavilion 7940
pentium 3
996 MHz
256 mb of ram
37.2 GB hard drive

Well your HD is sufficient for XP

your RAM and your processor need upgraded though. They will run XP as an OS, but it's a dog....

don't go back to ME though. That OS was the worst Micro$$$oft put out (at least until VISTA hits)....

I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn though. I actually do IT for a living....

I'd try the Wang Word Processing Store in your city.

Win 95 usually comes on 5-1/4" floppy disks, so be sure you either have a compatible drive or a pair of sharp scissors so you can cut it down to fit in the 3-1/2" floppy slot.
