But they were discussing on ESPN a couple of days ago whether it was a bigger deal to win back-to-back Super Bowls, or to make it to 4 straight Super Bowls. Your thoughts?
I think that it's a bigger deal to go to four straight Super Bowls. I know that the fans don't get the kick-ass feeling they get from seeing their team win the Super Bowl, and Buffalo fans might want to trade three of those losses for a win in the fourth, but no other team has won its conference four consecutive years. I don't think another team has ever won its conference three consecutive years (I might be wrong about that). Back-to-back wins have happened several times. I think the Steelers did it a couple of times in the 70's. Maybe the Packers did in the 60's. The 49ers did in the 80's. Cowboys in the 90's. The Patriots did it since 2000.
