Win 2 Super Bowls, or Make it to 4 Super Bowls?

I think some are missing the point here....

If I'm reading this right, you are asking which is HARDER to do, rather than what you would RATHER do....

Did Thurman Thomas just make it into the hall of fame? For some reason, ESPN was talking about the Bills and the Cowboys, and I think it was because Thurman Thomas and Michael Irvin each were going into the hall of fame. I had it on in the background, and don't really know or care what was said. But they were arguing over which was more impressive: the 2 Super Bowl wins or 4 Super Bowl appearances (all of which happened to be losses).

I still choose the 4 straight conference championships. In today's game of trades and free agency and egos bigger than 100 pounds of hog fat, it's tough to even make it to the playoffs 4 straight years.

I'd say it is almost impossible in the current NFL to get to and lose 4 straight SB's. I could maybe see a super dominant team getting to 4 straight, but they would have to win at least one. Weren't the Eagles just a win per season away from getting to 3 or 4 straight SB's?

I think the Eagles made it to three straight conference championship games, only winning the last one. 2004-2005, I believe it was.

Considering the mockery of Ohio's 2nd place streak, I'm surprised at the answers so far. I'd rather win 1 super bowl than lose 4.
Like BM80 said, I don't think that was the question. It said which is a bigger deal, I think given the choice of 1 win or 4 losses everyone would take the win.

A) Peyton Manning makes 4 straight super bowls.
B) Peyton Manning wins 1 super bowl.

(or change to 'LBJ' & 'finals').

B is a much bigger accomplishment, let alone 2 titles. Unless you're going to include the amount of mockery (for 4 years) of Peyton's inability to win the big game.

It may be harder... but I don't know that it makes it a bigger deal.

Yep, they both went in this past Saturday.
