He's right about "an officiating gaffe" significantly influencing the latter stages of the game. This one is the reason the game went to OT instead Ohio State winning 17-14 in regulation. Cry me a fucking river, Miami. :tibor:

It was not just blowing two calls, holding and a completion, to give Miami a shot.

They also had a blatant clip on aj hawk early in that big punt return. He had him dead to rights. seeing as they barely gained an inch all game and that drive, I have my doubts they tie it up without that play.

Has one game ever ripped the heart out of a program and its fan(s) the way that game did? It just eats them alive.

The only thing close I can think of is hearing old time Raider players/fans crying about the Immaculate Reception.

A decade of bad coaching is more depressive. And as far as Willis goes he should feel more snubbed about not getting the heisman then winning the title. Atleast the BCS didn't snub us in 02 like they did in 2000. We would of beat Oklahoma that year.
