Will a starter wear No. 25 next year?

me being one of them, and i was so geeked when i got it, it has the 2003 Fiesta Bowl logo on it and everything. Damn you Mo.

Those jerseys really disappoint me though! Nike improved this year with the stitched patch but with screenprinting? :shake: I refused to buy it... Plus right now at Cardboard Heroes they're selling those jerseys for 50% off! LMAO

I sure hope someone does! I spent 80 on a twill away 25 jersey after Christmas.. Could Beanie make the move to 25? Wasn't he 27 in high school? (Can't have that because Mr. George!) That'd be sweet if Gene Clifford took that number! He's probably my favorite Ohio State newcomer!
I still wear my #5 jersey from about 10 years ago. So what if no one on the current roster is a starter with that number? Do you have to pretend to be a certain player just to wear a jersey?

Ever heard of Vlade Janakievski?

Saine was #28 in high school, so since he can't get that, #256 could work for him... I can't remember off the top of my head what # Herron wore though... so he is a possability as well. Of course Saine could always get the #10 (like Slaton wears at WVA as a RB) or #7 if Henton decides on changing to #10.

haha you ever see that older football player back in the 30's or whatever that wore #100 for a year or something? that looked ODD... yeah 256 won't be used any time soon I wouldn't think.. I'd put money on Saine gettin 25

Mike Wiley.

Thats about the same time I got my #7 (Germaine) For the record, I have never pretended I was any #7.... except for maybe Duane Crooks. (For the curious, Duane Crooks did indeed have #7 in the late 90s, early 00s) I think he shared it with Gamble, now that I think about it... but, my memory for Mr. Crooks has faded with time)

dont quote me but i think henton was #7 in high school and since he redshirted and personally chose 7 id say he will keep 7 and keep the legend of #7 goin on. as far as 25 who knows but i doubt it will be a starter.

I saw Henton wearing #7 during the championship game on the sidelines, so i'm sure he'll be sticking with that for the rest of his time at tOSU.

Saine/Wright/Clifford would be cool in #25, I just hope no one takes #10. Considering Troy's career, I think that his jersey number should be respected to not be taken, and then be retired as it rightfully should.
