Why do I bother fighting on BN?

Scarlet, I can't defend Bollman's results with the O-line but I will defend Snyder. Whenever the D-Line gets punished, a DC is handcuffed as to what he can do scheme-wise. The quick-hit offenses will continue to give the Bucks trouble until these guys get their game straight.

I mean this with all sincerity. I have been happier since my BNuts departure. Kirk did me a favor by banning me, and an even bigger favor a few months back when he went the extra step of trying to make sure I can't even read there without some effort.

With all due respect to those who still post on, and enjoy, Bucknuts -- that place is an intellectual vacuum that will only serve to raise your blood pressure, and lower your IQ.

Not that there aren't still people making good points over there, but idiocy and kneejerk reactions rule. There was a time when you could stand in the middle of that and fight against it, but that was a couple years ago.

This isn't an attempt to rag on that site. I can just honestly say that it was literally sucking the fun out of football for me.

Good question. Tressel is a great coach, it is the rest of the staff that isn't getting it done. We lost one hell of a DC and Bollman appears clueless as to how we should run this offense.
I think that if the offense continues to struggle this year (regardless of wins and losses) Bollman should get 1 more year to try to turn things around (2005). If we still struggle on offense I think we need to make some changes with who coaches the O-line.

Well your threads seemed to start off well but went downhill fast haha. You arer 100% right though osugrad21 but some are just venting and not thinking logically.
I will say that the lack of offense is a concern but there is alot of factors that go into that and there is plenty of blame to go around. Bollman has some serious decisions to make.

Its still great to be a BUCKEYE !!!!

exactly clarity.....its like trying to discuss household economics and budgeting with a group of 14 year olds.....

It would probably be a more intelligent discussion to be honest with you.

I just can't read that moronic stuff over there anymore. I knew that it was probably getting ready to blow sooner than Mt. St. Helens.

I think Snyder will fit great into Ohio State's defense. Unfortunately, he needs to be upstairs so he can make the proper adjustments. I'm aware of the extremely green defense, that is why I place it on Bollman. I wonder how much of a difference Dantonio would have made. However, I'm completely satisfied with Snyder. In his defense, they were extremely balanced which makes playcalling difficult. Northwestern's might score 27, that is when I get irate about five wide on the goal line. tOSU hasn't had a problem scoring more against Northwestern for a long, long time.

I know what you are saying. It's kinda like the pioneers who would settle an area 150 years ago, and then get sick of all the new people moving into town, who didn't actually build cabins, settle the place, chase out the bears, Indians, whatever..... I remember when bucknuts was a place where Duane Long would hang out every night and we would have really great recruiting discussions, between people who actually knew what the hell was going on.
