Is there ANY chance you would have believed this, even coming from yourself?Jim Tressel has a Big Ten winning streak that Woody never matched, not that anyone else who ever coached in the conference ever did. The current run of domination over TSUN is something that Woody managed once: But our run in the early 70s and the current one are the only times in history when any team has been dominant over TSUN when they were competitive with everyone else. It has been 25 months since Michigan lost a Big Ten game to anyone other than Jim Tressel. Next Tuesday, it will have been 36 months since Jim Tressel lost to anyone who finished the year outside of the Top 3. Forgive me if I'm assuming a win over a talented Illinois team, but with guys like JT or WWH as the coach, you tend to do that as a fan.Clearly these accomplishments don't yet outweigh Woody's time here. But you don't have to be a statistician to see the trend here. Those of us familiar with the qualities of a leader have seen the signs since very early on: this man is building a dynasty.Other posts in other threads have correctly opined that NOW may very well be the best time ever to be a Buckeye. I repeat that here, in the Greatest Coach's Thread, because it is thanks to the man who will eventually hold that title that this facet of our lives is so fantastic right now.
Jt has made it a good time to be a Buckeye for 7 years. How long did Woody do the same?TS10HTW;988785; said::cheers: exactly why I voted JT
