Who's heading to Bloomington?

  • buckeyefool, eberts fat lip, and I are heading out tomorrow around 1pm or so. Staying at the Quality Inn in Bloomington. Buddy of mine booked the rooms a year ago.

We'll be heading back Sunday morning. Hope to see some of you there.

I'm bringing my daughter to the game for her first in-person look at Big-10 football.

Please understand that's why I may try to avoid many of you this weekend.

I'll be out there... I'm leaving tonight to stay w/ some college buddies. We're leaving saturday morning from indy to bloomington around 5 am and start tailgating once they allow in the gates. There will be about 20 of us. I plan on only remembering 'til just about midway through the third quarter. :drunks:

Leaving at 7am Saturday morning...never miss a Buckeye game in Bloomington. Any word on how many Buckeye fans are expected? If we don't have their stadium (if you want to call it that) doing the O-H-I-O cheer, i'll be pissed.

27 no worries. I am assuming there will be an ample supply at the game. Besides, I can help out a IU student with some beer money. That's me, always doing my part...

edit: There were 2 in the ticket forum, I PM'd the person. Thanks!

Jonathan, if you live in C-Bus, you'll never make it in time. That gives you 4 hours to get there. You won't even get there by halftime.

I'm leaving from Dayton, Ohio...and that's 5 hours until kickoff. Kickoff is 12:10 Ohio Time, right?

It's 2 hours from Dayton to Indianapolis...and I know on a non game day it's about an hour from Indianapolis to Bloomington. In years past I have gone pleanty early, or been there the day before. I know traffic is bad, but if I hit Indianapolis at 9am, will it really take more than 3 hours to get to the game?

He's right, It'll take you 3 just to get to Indy, barring no traffic holdups, and from what ive heard US 37 is backed up with construction so the normally 45 minute trip from Indy to Bloomington might take a little bit longer.

edit: then again leaving from dayton should cut down on that travel time significantly.
