Totally agree. Look at the scale of the jet in the background compared to the scale of the building in the foreground...way too big.

compair the pilot to the spectator. the superhornet is a pretty big aircraft. id venture to guess the jet is a lot further from the building than it appears.

In the video linked by the OP, it says it was 200 - 300 ft. from the building.

Per the Navy.mil website, the wingspan of an A/F-18 varies from 40 feet 5 inches for the C and D models to 44.9 feet for the Super Hornet, E and F models. Assuming the jet in the photo is the larger version, that 45-foot wingspan sure looks a lot bigger than it should, being 200-300 feet behind that building...

It's definitely an F/A-18F...much larger leading edge extension & the snag just outside of the leading edge flaps.

While I'm still going with Photoshopped, they say a telephoto lens can be adjusted to flatten the distance between objects and make them seem closer than they really are. If its not shopped, then its an optical illusion because people have already disproved the photo...distances/measurements being normal....because the jet would be too large.

it is 100% without question a super hornet.

so the wingspan is 45 feet roughly. the average height of 1 storey in a building is typically 10 to 12 feet. so based on the photo the aircraft appears to be 15 to 9 feet smaller than it would be if it were directly beside the building. would that size difference not be explained by the aircraft being 100 to 300 ft further away?

link? if im understanding this correctly the width of the jet from wingtip to wingtip should be roughly the same as the height of 4 storeys. not saying the photo isn't shopped, it certainly could be. but im not certain you can use the size of the aircraft to make that determination.
