Who will win the 2007 U.S. Open at Oakmont?

This wasn't a fact, yet more of a generalization from an announcer, but it's been said that the average second putt is 5 or 6 feet becuase the greens are so fast and severe. If you are grinding on those all day you'll be wiped out by the end of your round (not to mention you'll probably make a lot of bogeys). I can't imagine playing a course like this in a big tournament.

Let the bloodbath begin! No one is under par anymore and all the players at +1 still have 9 holes or more to go in their round today. Looks like 2 over will be leading going into the weekend and its only going to get harder. Should be fun to watch.

Anyone else feel free to join in anytime.

I was wrong about the 2 over. Tiger IMO is out. Bubba doesn't have the expertise to get it done (doesn't mean much, Look at what ZJ did at augusta). Cabrera is the kind of scrappy foreigner that once he gets the lead won't give it up. IMO someone will have to go get from him today. Watch out for Casey. If I can throw out one more name it's gotta be Rose. I think this weekend has his name written all over it. He's my favorite from here on out.

Didn't get to see any of yesterday's round. Hoping to catch some today. I love the US Open because they fuck with these guys' heads with the difficulty of the course. Really hoping to see the entire field go backwards today...

no way you can count Tiger out yet. If he is within 3 or so at the end of today he has a pretty good shot tomorrow.

Really would like to see Bubba get it done. I think you are going to see someone go low today (68) - I do not think Cabrera will be in the final pairing tomorrow. David Toms has a real shot if he can stay out of trouble.

Other than el Tigre, he's the only one who has actually won a major. That's a big leg up.
