Coach Bruce said to be a great Buckeye you have to play great against Michigan. To be sure, I anticipate many great performances this Saturday.

On offense, what I would like to see is TP having a memorable performance much like Troy Smith did in his first start against TSUN. The passing attack is there (if they take it) and I picture their DBs blowing coverage and Sanzenbacher getting a big TD. However, Pryor will mostly do damage with his feet, and I expect his passing to be overlooked when we analyze the game later.

I suppose we'll see a heavy dose of the running game with carries split between Saine and Boom. As a result, we may not see a standout play on offense. (What I would like to see is a safety blitz, the CB takes a bad angle, and Saine runs 73 yards for a TD.)

It's likely that we see the defining play on defense or special teams. Last year, I thought Small's punt return was the hinge on which that game turned into a solid Buckeye victory. I would be surprised to see it happen again, especially since TSUN's punter is quite good.

So, I expect the "big play" on defense. The question in my mind is whether Tater tries to force one underneath and Spitler takes it to the house or he lets one sail and one of the safeties, say Coleman, gets the INT and sets up a game-ending TD. Having watched TSUN, Forcier regularly throws right. I imagine Tater rolling right and Gibson is about to pounce, TF considers throwing it out of bounds, but thinks he can get it to Roundtree. The ball is thrown too high and Coleman grabs it. The rest is history.

Gotta think our RBs are going to do some serious running in this one. And with the current state of the scUM defense...I think Saine is going to break several big ones. Boom will do some pounding too, but I think Brandon breaks through the line and explodes a few times Saturday!

But I'm sure our D will be making big plays all over the field...especially after their relatively quiet game last week. I'm sure Thad and Cam and company are craving some QB! LOL!

I agree. Voted for Saine. Agree with you about Herron, too. "Boom & Zoom" will get it done.

As to the D: TSUN hasn't seen a defense like this one all year. Should be fun. Go Bucks!!

Zach Boren - Snubbing him AND trash talking big brother? Remembering how he treated the innocent PSU lb'ers, I see some people getting de-cleated. Graham is the one that may be the target. While he is looking for the ball he may have two Borens coming after him on any given play.

Boom has been looking very good if almost spectacular of late, but Cam Heyward had an off game last week so I think he'll want to make amends for last week! So, it will be Cam this week!

Outside of that big sack by Worthington at the end I thought the whole d-line had a bad week. I'd look for them to want to punish Tater or I Can't Tie My Shoes Robinson So I went To scum, or whoever has the ball and dares come at them. I hope we put about 70 on the dip[censored]s.
