Who replaces D. Thomas in OSU Basketball.

I was not surprised by Thomas's decision to enter the NBA but more surprised with Cody Zeller making his bid to enter the NBA. It sure will be a different Indiana team out there next year on the hardwoods.

Which brings to mind about what player will be filling the vacancy of Deshaun Thomas for the Buckeyes next season. I was thinking maybe it could be Campbell or maybe Amir Williams could be there. I am only guessing here but would like to hear from others out there on who they think could fill the bill. Just asking.

I was thinking about that this morning. My plan would be for Craft and Scott to play 1 on 1 against each other all summer with Craft not allowed to shoot from inside 10 feet and Scott not allowed to shoot from outside 10 feet.

Regardless of what happens with Q or Loving Craft needs to develop as a good 3 point shooter. If he doesn't defenders will play off of him and cut off his driving lanes.

Thats a good plan for a 1 on 1 for Craft & Scott. You need to send that idea to Thad. It sure would help the inside game for a big man to step and take charge, but i don't know if Williams can be that guy. I agree that Craft needs to get better at shooting the 3 ball. That has to happen big time.

Ross is a no-brainer, but if Sam Thompson progresses at the same rate next year that he did from year 1 to year 2, he will be a first team all B1G selection next season.

Is this a trick question… Ross will no doubt take over Thomas's starting position. Now really average around 20 points per game… That is the big question. I do not think that Loving is ready for prime time right now. It will be interesting to see how he fits in.

Craft and Scott both have a lot of room to grow with their shooting skills - in the paint, in the midrange and beyond the arc. Now, Craft does need to be a more reliable 3-point shooter next year, and I'd especially like to see him pull up and make 3s off the dribble consistently, that's something he hasn't really done much of to this point.

I think it is a trick question. If you say Campbell, you really don't know what you're talking about. If you say Amir, you really don't know what you're talking about. Neither "Campbell" nor Amir will be playing the 4.

DT played the 4, Ross is going to be cast in the same role as DT just had next year. I'd hope that Loving can grow into the Ross role from last year as being the backup 4 and possibly they will play a frontline of Ross and Loving together and no C. Loving has a similar body build to Ross, and possibly even longer arms, but needs to add strength.

I'm really hoping that Kam can make the rotation and give them a lift offensively because they need someone with a quick trigger that will take and make a lot of shots. DT had an extremely heavy shot load and so they have a lot of shots to replace. Ross is Option A, but even he isn't going to have the same shot volume that DT had last year, so they will need others to take some of those shots and Kam could be a guy they help build some things around offensively. So I'm hoping Ross can be the new go-to guy and then Kam would be able to come in off the bench and be another go-to offensive player. None of the starters returning have been heavy shot takers on a consistent basis.
