Who do you think is the team most likely to knock us off on yet another hopeful undefeated season and why? That being said, I realize a lot of us don't see us going undefeated in the regular season, but if you were to pick an opponent to best us, who would it be?

For the sake of keeping things simple, you'll notice I left out teams who have slim to no chance at beating us (i.e. scUM).

Personally, I am not worried about PSU - Royster isn't enough, they lost their LB corps and their current QB situation is a trainwreck. Nor Miami - They're coming to our house. We're going to play lights out and I don't think JT's going to play conservative with Terrelle on that stage. Not only that but Harris is extremely inconsistent and I don't see us being the team they find their groove against.

Iowa worries me a bit as they tend to play a solid trench battle and always have an above average, gritty QB, but Wisconsin bothers me the most. Year in and year out, their power running game (no matter how great we're clicking on offense) has the potential to control the pace of any game. It's generally very tough to create much (if any) point seperation when it comes to playing Wisky.

@Iowa. No reason to suspect they and their pink locker rooms won't be good again this year, and it's late in the year when the pressure to maintain the undefeated season really can become a burden.

Honestly? Marshall.

Sleeper game before Miami, where we don't truly know how we're going to gel as a team. I doubt we'll lose, however, I think this game is going to set the tone for the rest of the season.

QFT

Iowa will have the 2nd best defense in the Big Ten. Wisconsin will have a very good offense. Defense trumps offense.

With all due respect given to Iowa's talented defense for the upcoming season...how often does Wisconsin really give up more than a couple touchdowns max? Wisconsin doesn't have the big names or stat monsters coming back, but they are just like their basketball team. For some reason, no matter who is on the field, they're almost always stubborn and gritty. Blowing out Wisconsin is near impossible. It's not such a bold statement, but I wouldn't be surprised if both games are close.

'Every one of them' is my answer...Purdue is still too fresh in my mind. tOSU is the NC game for every team on the schedule.
I think Purdue is about to get the Northwestern, post-2004 treatment.

I hate, hate, hate playing in Camp Randall...especially at night.

That makes it tricky, not the most challenging, imo.

Madison trumps Iowa City, particularly when it comes to spoiling buckeyes.

Even when they were bad in 08, they gave OSU a major scare in Madison. They weren't just bad, they would lose 5 of 6 and had just suffered an unbelievable meltdown against RR's horrible team.

When was the last time a competent OSU team had trouble in Iowa City?

The ratio of struggles in Iowa City to easy wins in Madison is pretty even.

Definitely agree. I'll need to see consistency in TP before I feel comfortable with anything. He took the step...but now he needs to take the leap.

Eh, since I gave the standard crap answer to start, I will agree with Wisky and Iowa but Miami will be in Columbus to make a statement. tOSU better have it strapped up for that one.
