I know this is after the survey started, but Affleck. First time they had a Batman who was the right size and was intimidating. Although Snyder wasted the opportunity and Affleck never did his own Batman film.

The Batman 2022 was a dark version with a good soundtrack.

The Batman Part 2:

The Batman 2: Release, Cast & Everything We Know

Currently, the release date for The Batman - Part II is set for October 3, 2025.

Initially, it was reported production would begin in November 2023; however, it was ultimately delayed due to the writers' and actors' strikes that shut down the entertainment industry over the summer of 2023,

This led to reports claiming that filming now won’t be starting until March 2024.

While it is possible the movie could still make its original 2025 release date, given how far away it is, fans should prepare for delays.

I haven't made a TV show recommendation since Andor was released in 2022.
I tend to like "turn your brain off and enjoy yourself" shows. No true crime crap, very few documentaries, no absurd mysteries (True Detective excluded).
I'm giving you an hour, I want to be entertained.

That said - "The Penguin" is the best show I've seen in two years.
There is exactly 2 seconds of mentions of "Batman" and "The Riddler" so you don't need to see the movie to enjoy the characters.
The first 120 seconds of episode one get you 100% caught up to speed.

This is a legacy "Mob" show. It's suspenseful and empathetic and entertaining all at once.
The 9:00pm EST time slot on HBO Max is reserved for the best of the best in television. This is an immediate hit. It's well worth your time.

I still don't believe that's Colin Farrell under there.

My nephew was a great Batman.. when he was 7
He's now a General with Army Special Ops.. many tours in middle east; led efforts to get Bin Laden in Bora Bora; led efforts to extract a ton of folks after we fucked up Afghanistan withdrawal; developed the Jiu Jitzu training pgm for Army... bad ass.. He gets my vote

I'm really looking forward to watching this, but I'm waiting until all the episodes are released. Max needs to realize in a streaming world making people wait for episodes is an antiquated philosophy. Yeah, it's how most of us grew up (The Sopranos made you look forward to Sunday nights), but nowadays most of us want the ability to binge these shows.

Agreed. With normal TV, 'that night' where a new show debuted was highly anticipated. Nowadays, agree, I binge until the end. PS, thought Kilmer killed it as Batman. His square jaw was set off by the mask, so he looked the best at the part. Not able to tell you who acted the best, however. Most of the acting was done while Batman was in civvies as Bruce Wayne. So, my vote on that goes to Bale. Will look at the Penguin NFBuck.

Not certain who penned it, but as far as the 'joker' goes, enjoyed Nicholson, but he played it for more melodrama and grins. Somewhat bizzare for his afflictions, no? Ledger as Joker was eerie. I was more riveted, as couldn't tell/project what he was going to do next. For that alone, he gets my vote. Still believe that Frank Gorshin as the Riddler, in his green suit, and Adam West as Batman was tops.
