LSU coach Les Miles has an idea to combat the noise when his team visits Mississippi State: More cowbell.
The Tigers, coming off a 44-41 loss to Georgia, have been preparing for Saturday's game by pumping in loud rap music during practice.
However, Miles knows from experience that if the home crowd gets riled up, his players will be hearing a different jingle.
"We're thinking that piping in cowbells is something we need to run Thursday," Miles told the New Orleans Times-Picayune. "We piped in music pretty hard. Maybe the cowbells need a little tuning up."
