I spent the afternoon & evening putting up the outside lights (no sense watching the bungles slap the brown off the clowns), and I was the last one on my block to get my lights up.

The tree is next weekend.

Tree and lights go up Friday. Before Thanksgiving is just blasphemy. Its bad enough that radio stations go "All Christmas, All the Time" so damn early. I enjoy Christmas with my kids like most people do. I'm just tired of it being rammed down our throats so damn early.

Trees shouldn't be up in the month of November.

Probably won't get one for a couple of weeks.

Got the tree up on Saturday, along with all of the interior decorations. Outside I only put up a few lights and that will be done this week. The reason we jumped to do it early is because we've got family coming over for a party next saturday.
