Drip water systems are generally for arid climates where water is gold!
You don't need to drip irrigate in O-H!
yes ! I know all that. It is very big in the Chinese desert experiments.

When we first moved to Taos, we lived in Valdez. An area below the Taos Ski Valley.(near Julia Roberts ranch) We would use snow melt run off water to irrigate our little garden and grow Salad Bowl lettuce and tomatoes.
That water made for the most delicious and tasty lettuce I've ever had! Sadly, I can't use that water where I'm at now. :( My conditions are very different and I'm just 5 miles moved!

My brother lives in Vegas and he has a small garden similar to yours. I just didn't know if you used that style of irrigation out there in your desert.
Sooo how many times have they caught you window peeping?

Nope but I sure wish we had one. me and GF live in Apts, so we cant have one.

Once we get our $$ figured out we will look into getting a house so we can get the garden thing jumping off.
window planters = fresh tomatos ,dude
also can do onions and radishes for one or two people in them.
My nephew wants to sell his house in deleware . He got married and they moved into her house

If your referring to Ms Roberts, well ,Taosenios leave her alone. I have had
occasion to be in close proximity to her , but really, without the makeup she's nothing special! Even got "the smile" once!
Very nice lady! And Danny is very nice, also!

That water made for the most fluffy, neon green buds I've ever smoked! Sadly, I can't use that water where I'm at now. :( My conditions are very different and I'm just 5 miles moved! Therefore, my basement is full of hydroponic eqiupment and I just buillt a meth lab in the backyard

Yeah, weeding and yardwork is going to a bitch-and-a-half this summer.

Welcome to the club, BK :ohwell:

Tomorrow marks the 'average last frost' day in our neck of the woods, so we'll be getting our plants in over the next week or so. We're going to be growing a lot more 'storable' veggies this year (potatos, squash, onions) than in years past and will try and 'cellar' them for use over the winter. We're still working on last year's canned tomatos :)

I love home grown.
