Who else is going to be glued to ABC tonight? (Lost)

Tried to watch "Invasion" last night. Couldn't. It was awful.

The Others are not from the rear of the ship. They're the results of some type of experiment or drug-test gone completely wrong. I'm still trying to figure out if the guy that is holding Locke hostage takes that shot every day to prevent from catching the experimental disease, or if that's something else. And I don't know how everybody is related to each other. But my guess is the passengers on the rear of the plane (any that are left alive) are being held prisoner as well by The Others.

Well, it figured. The evil thing in the bunker that is capable of destroying the world was devised by a couple of scUM'ers.

They shouldn't have needed the training film to know that one.

Hawg,

I'm not saying they are the real 'others'... I'm saying that jin was running from the passengers from the rear of the plane and he thinks that they are the "others". Wait what did I just say? Nevermind, continue with your regularly scheduled programming.

After tonight's episode and the previews for next week, looks as if you were correct.

I turned to my wife and said "well that fucking figures!"

It was nice to see Katie Segal in there as Lockes girlfriend... too bad she doesn't have a bigger role.

Does anyone know if the big black guy who is the one who threw Sawyer and Co in that pit... is that the guy who played Adabese (sp?) in OZ (HBO prison show)?

I was hoping that jack would convince everyone not to enter the code... just to see what would happen. And how in the fuck can Jin suddenly speak fluent English? In the preview for next weeks episode he has no accent or anything.

Lost sucks this year. WTF was with all the drama last night? Locke and his bullshit "Leap of faith" speech...please. The tension between him and Jack, and their respective actions, were absurd. I was very disenchanted with the episode last night.

Yeah, I'm too into it now to stop watching...and in retrospect, last night's episode was pretty good. At least something new happened, as opposed to last week. But all the argumentative scenes between Jack and Locke were annoying as hell to me - especially when they were arguing about pushing the button. Locke - "I can't do it alone, Jack." Ugh. The previews for next week did look good, but they always do.

I could live without Locke and Mike. Those characters don't really do anything for me. Alias lost it sometime during the 3rd season and I still watch it so I'm probably stuck with Lost until they end it.
Nip/Tuck, Lost, and Alias are the only hour long dramas that I watch, but I have been Tivoing Threshold so I'll probably give that a shot this weekend when I can sit down and watch the first 4-5 episodes in a row. As far as new sitcoms go I've been watching How I met your Mother, and My Name is Earl and like them both.

Agreed. I really like this show, but there are some very annoying aspects to it. At the top of my list are 1) Jack's character, 2) the lack of communication between these people, and 3) how they ignore whole apects of the plot for weeks (e.g. Claire gets kidnapped last year and after one episode of looking for her, they forget about her except for the occassional reference.)

Personally, I was annoyed during that scene because I didn't understand why Kate or Sayid would just stand there listening to such an absurd argument. If I was one of them, I would have pushed the button and told the other two that they are idiots.

I thought last night's episode was pretty good until that contrived 'leap of faith' scene in the last couple of minutes of the countdown.

Michelle Rodriguez kicks ass.

Can someone post a synopsis of what happens on LOST tonight?

I have to cover a class for one of the professors for whom I work and it doesn't end until 9:45 tonight. :( (And no, I don't have Tivo or a VCR to record it or I would).
