Good evenin' Buckeye Fans,

thanks for letting me post on your board. I look forward to some good conversation with some folk who love college football, but happen to have a different favorite team than me...

this seemed like a good thread to jump in...

seems like a nice argument for UGA since they were number 4 going into the weekend... why not just boost everyone up? Then again... why not just leave everyone where they were before the weekend if the conference championships have no merit? So what MO lost... it's just a conf championship game?

Seems to me, if a team can lose a chance at the MNC (like MO), then a team should also get credit for winning a game (LSU), while another sits at home and watches... (like UGA).

Seems pretty easy to understand how a team moves up by playing and winning, while another stays neutral by sitting at home (because they were unable to win their division.)

Enough of this.... obviously, this is how most people and computers saw this, otherwise I would be more interested in the Pats and Ravens right now than an OSU board...

I see that some of you havent been impressed with LSU this year... and honestly... there have certainly been times that I haven't been either. I'll be reluctant to say that about OSU... as no matter the result of the game... I'd rather it be against that AHHHHSOME OSU BUCKEYE, BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM, masterminded by no less than Jim Tressell himself!! (you know... that team that whooped UM and almost everyone else they played!!)

You're probably right... our team isn't very good... but you might want to talk us up just a little... just to help make yourself look good... no matter the result of the game... then again... much rude of me to be making such suggestions so early, huh?

Sorry for such forwardness,
Steve

I'm kinda of confused by this post. We clearly respect LSU. Go ahead and look around on the rest of this forum. We respect LSU, talk about their playmakers, and talk about how good ground and pound guys like Hester are.

There is no disrespect intended towards the Tigers. We are happy to be playing the SEC champion.

Of course, we are going to joke about Les Miles lobbying for his team to play in the championship game. We are not saying that they are unworthy of being in the championship game. Go look at the rest of the forum. No one else is saying that.

I have no idea where this is distress is coming from. It isn't coming from Ohio State fans. It would be more likely to come from Oklahoma fans, Virginia Tech fans, or Georgia fans. Tressel voted LSU into the championship game. That is the general opinion of the whole state of Ohio.

I'm so confused by your post.
